To post a picture in a message, it needs to be somewhere on the internet, such as in your own personal webspace or on an online photo album. An online photo album that can be used is

In your post, put in the URL of the actual picture, then highlight the url. While it is highlighted, click on the IMG button above the message frame. That will put IMG tags before and after the url of the picture, and make the picture itself show up in posts. Or, you can type in the image tags.

It will look like this:

But when you submit your post, the picture will show up. Like this:



Make sure your picture is not overly large. If it is, it needs to be resized at the original location before trying again to post it here. Anything higher and wider than 500 pixels would be overly large and would need resizing. A good, free program that can resize pictures is IrfanView,

Note that some online photo albums do not allow images to be shown on another website, (called "hotlinking"). Webshots does not, but Photobucket does. If you can't make a picture from an online photo album show up after following the instructions for posting pictures, you will then need to just put in the URL for people to click on and go to that photo album site.
