OT - have you by chance heard from Maria???? I am sending her a letter via snail mail in the hopes that her secretary or someone will get it because she hasn't posted since Dec. 4th and she isn't answering my e-mails which is VERY unlike her. I'm just very concerned that something might have happened to her.....(Mark is worried too). I can't find her cell phone number to save my life either and I DID have it!!!!

Thanks, Michelle. One of Jim's co-workers will take care of the cats. I hope Simon doesn't give her trouble when she tries to give him his pill and inhaler. She is coming tonight and we will have her try with us there.

I have not heard from Maria. I hope she is ok.

I sent a snail mail letter to Maria (and addressed it to her OR HER SECRETARY) and wrote URGENT on the envelope. I asked that Maria or whomever gets the letter to call me collect and included my phone number..... It went out on Thursday. I will certainly let you all know what I find out if anything. I'm very worried....

I'm so sorry! I finally did get on my computer tonight and online for the first time.

Thank you so much for caring! I'm sorry I worried everyone, but I really appreciate your concern.

I didn't get the snailmail yet. I'm going to the house tomorrow to pick up some things to take to Judy's so I'll take the mail. Maybe it will be there then.

Just so everyone knows - Maria did get my letter and she called me this afternoon. As you already know, she's fine (since she's been posting) and she's just been terribly busy and shorthanded to boot. She sent me a rather long e-mail that she will be cutting and pasting so you can all catch up on her where-a-bouts the last few weeks. Probably not until about Tuesday though.... so now we know she's ok. That's a fantastic Christmas present in itself, don't you think???? I know that I, for one, will have one less issue keeping me up nights.
