To set the time you will see on the forum to match the time it is where you live, go to your Profile page to the bottom where it says, "Timezone".

This forum is defaulted to US Eastern time. When it is Standard time in the Eastern US (during the fall and winter), the forum time is GMT- 5 hours.

The basic forum program time setting is based on Greenwich Mean Time (GMT), which is also known as Universal Time. Greenwich is in England. It's zero at the GMT, then plus or minus hours depending upon where one is located in relation to Greenwich, England. The United States, including Hawaii, in on the minus side. But then our Daylight Savings Time comes into play too.

If you live where the time will change an hour due to Daylight Savings Time, you will need to reset the time in your profile when the change occurs.

To set your time, you can experiment with how many hours minus or plus to set your profile to that will match the time on a clock in your home.
