Hi Michelle:
Wellness has a frequent buyer program for their canned foods. By 12 cases and get the 13th free. I have a card in at my local store.
Does the internet vendor offer that, too?

Unfortunately my two don't like Wellness........they're addicted to Nutro Gourmet. I've never been able to get them to eat any other wet food - except Fancy Feast Shrimp and Fish Feast........

Michelle - I am going to begin giving Jeremy a little fish here and there. I had thought he might be allergic to either fish or the Sweatscoop. I hope it's the Sweatscoop. He really loves fish.
Molly would love it - but Jeremy manages to get some of her food. She always leaves him a bite for some reason. She is "stuck on stupid" sometimes because he eats her food whether she leaves it for him or not. Silly girl.

Oh yah!!!! I forgot about the possibility that Jeremy might be allergic to fish!!!! Well, I guess by introducing bits of it here and there now that he's "all better" you will find out. Good luc with that! _________________ Michelle |

I’ve added Wellness to my larder, but it is not my Primary wet food. Eagle Pack wet is what I feed to most of the crew.
The only wet food that Dusty will reliably eat is Wellness Chicken and Herring. She even turns her head up on Whiskais and Friskies salmon (both of which are devoured by everyone else in the household).
Pippin is fed Wellness wet kitten food. I remember the days when he could eat a whole 3 oz can at one setting. Now, if I would put out a whole can for him, he can only get through about ¾ of it. I give him ½ a can at night and let him finish up anything left over by the other cats (which is usually part of Dusty’s chicken and herring).
Since Dusty only eats 1/8 of a can at a time, it will be a very long time before I finish her case of chicken and herring – just over a half a year. Pippin will finish his lot in about 48 days. That will be…. Let me see if I can remember the math here.
I have already purchased 3 cases of Wellness (2 kitten and one adult). Pippin is about 6 months old, so I will have to switch him off of the kitten food to adult food them. That means I can buy 3.79 cases of kitten food for him (182 days to feed/48 days per case). I round that up to 4 cases of kitten food.
In the next six months, I buy one case of adult food for Dusty (that gives me 192 days of food for her)
So, one year from now, I will have purchased an additional 5 cases of Wellness. This, with my initial inventory, will give me a total of 8 cases.
After Pippin becomes an adult and switches to Eagle Pack, I’ll only buy two cases a year of Wellness for Dusty. At that rate, it will take me an additional 2 years to buy the additional 4 cases of need to reach the 12 case level and earn a free case.
Wow, I hope the paper is not biodegradable. It may disintegrate before I can get the cans! |

Whoa....Mark! "Larders" were "used" before the refrigerator was invented and that was WHEN??? Late 1800's/early 1900's or so? Any you were born WHEN? hehehe..... wow - really threw me for a loop. I haven't heard that word since I was - well, never! Are you having flashbacks to a previous life perhaps? Larder..... you kill me! In case you haven't figured it out, I decided it's "pick on Mark day"....hehehe Hope you are ok with that!
Keep an eye on your expiration dates on those cans if you are storing them like that.... they can and will go bad. Had to send a shipment back that was questionable. Also, when returning food you need to show when you bought it and if the date is "too far out" it won't be taken back. _________________ Michelle |

Michelle;
I'm only as old as I feel..... (so, today, I can remember when Moses was a little kid with his baby goat!).
I don't keep food around that long - it was really an exercise in math,

So, you remember Moses as a kid, huh? My stepson SWEARS that I am the ORIGINAL Cleopatra..... I think that makes me older than you.... he say's I'm "older than dirt" and that he is certain I had a "pet dinosaur" too..... (all in fun, of course!) Kids..... _________________ Michelle |
