I guess persistence really does payoff! lol

I have been asking all my coworkers all the time if they're sure they don't need a orange kitty and today when I asked one of them she said that her brother just moved to Asheville and told her yesterday that he wanted an orange cat! So.... he's going to get some supplies today and they're going to get him over the weekend.

The best part is that he wants a big smooshball lap cat, inside only and doesn't believe in declawing! Yay!!!!!

I'm really going to miss him - I had been putting off aggressively trying to find him a home with the hopes that he and Sammy would get along one day, but I know he'll be happy with a lap just for him. Smile

This is the best news I have had all day!! Tigger is going to love his new home with a lap all to himself. And the brother is going to love a big orange smooshball of a cat. I am excited for both of them!!

Thanks Cindy! Smile

I'm glad for him and for Sammy too! I won't miss the fighting one little bit, but I will miss the smooshy buns...

Oh wow! That's great. Seems like it was meant to be as you had an orange cat needing a home, and the person was looking for an orange cat.

It will be nicer without the fighting.

Congratulations Stephanie - this is the best news for you and the kitties - all of them, not just Tigger.

Looks like he will be King of the Palace! Good for him! Keep us updated - I'll look forward to hearing some more.

I know - how weird was that?!! It must have been meant to be. Very Happy Of course he's going with the understanding that if anything happens I'll take him back.

He'll be happy being a lap cat - he would be more so if Thomas weren't always in mine! Wink

It really will be, but I've gotten attached to him though. I've had him since November, a lot longer than Hunter & Butterscotch, and I'm really going to miss him. Oh well, now I've got that extra room again! lol

Dancing Wow! Excellent news!!! Great job Stephanie! I can understand how you will miss him, but I guess him having a lap just for him will be pure heaven to the smooshball...... lucky kitty and lucky brother that it all worked out so well!!! idea1 Maybe there is another kitty waiting for you to take it in and that's why this came about now.....

Thanks guys! Smile

I took Tigger to his new home Sunday. *sniff, sniff*

I brought along some his favorite toys and his little bed. As soon as he got out of the carrier he ran under the bed in the bedroom, but when I called him he came out for some scritches. I picked him up and loved on him and when I left he was following his new Dad towards the kitchen, trying to mooch some ham from his sandwich. Wink

I think he'll be just fine! I went over to my Dad's yesterday evening and when I got back there was a message on my machine from my coworker letting me know that Tigger took a nap with her brother and that he really liked him, so I feel better today. Very Happy

I'm glad Tigger didn't have adjustment problems. It is always a relief to get good news after one places a cat.

It sounds like this is where Tigger is meant to be!! Will the guy keep the name Tigger?
