Thank you Margaret! I knew YOU would understand my "story" about Sparky more than anybody else! I thought Jim would get a kick out of it too....

Michelle, your "picture essay" really cracked me up! I keep looking at it for a laugh. Laughing My favorite part was:
gaah gaah gaah

It made me feel all sentimental about Sparky. Laughing

Trilly-77-24 Yes, Margaret - "the boy" certainly IS gaah gaah gaah , hehehe....yes, he is.....(((shaking head)))

This morning I woke to go to the bathroom at 5:00 a.m..... the bathroom carpet was "quite asunder" and the bottom panel of pine that is facing the front of the bathtub was "missing"...(it's not nailed in) so I thought....oh no.... there must be a mouse. It had Sparky written all over it..... I went to the living room and found Peaches laying next to my ottoman facing the kitchen area....(she probably found said mouse as she lays in front of the tub for hours and hours just for that purpose) and I flipped on the light.....there, on the kitchen runner was Milo - laying on his side facing Sparky...and there was the Sparky monster, laying like the Sphinx with the dead mouse between his paws..... sigh haloslip

I got some paper towels and picked up the dead mouse worried, of course that this one too might have somehow ingested that steering fluid - but as I walked to the door to take it outside, I saw that even the living room carpets in front of the front door were all strewn about - and thought this mouse had to be quite healthy to put them through what apparently was a half-of- the house chase before finally succombing to the Sparky attack.

I was impressed - he let me pick it up from between his paws and didn't even try to swipe or meow or anything!!! GOOD kitty boy!!!!

I have to say that Sparky is one impressive cat. I think you should just sit down and write all about him. They say that truth is stranger than fiction and I think Sparkies story would make for some awesome reading...especially the way you tell it.

The easiest way to write a Sparky story would be to go back to all the archives at Franny's cat site and copy and paste everything....that boy gets into SO MUCH I couldn't possibly remember it all.....I'll bet Margaret could though! Trilly-77-24 I know how much she loves him so I'm sure she remembers ALL the antics that I write about where as when I write about them I forget about them and wait for the next one so I can write about IT. Rolling Eyes There's always something new going on with that boy.... hehehehe....

. It's under her Feb. story.

Cindy, I hope that kitten pic I added to your story is ok. He doesn't look longhaired like the cat in your story is, but it is fuzzy and indicates the kitten may well grow up to be a longish haired cat. It's your cat character when he was a young kitten, we'll imagine.

He does have two different colored eyes, though. That is the brother of Franny, Franny being the white cat I had that really had two different colored eyes. I called him Sammy. I photo edited one of his eyes into blue. He was the fuzziest of the four kittens so may well have grown up into a longish haired cat.

You need to write up the story about Sparky thinking he was Something Special and jumping on Milo's back. That is the funniest cat stories ever, (to me, anyway) especially if one "see's" it happening in one's imagination.

Margaret, I just found this post. I must have missed it when the forum was having problems. Thanks for putting the kitty in the story. You always add just the right touch to make the story...more.

Awww, I am sorry if I made you cry. But then again, I made myself cry when I reread it, lol.
